Former a cappella star Bumper Allen relocates to Berlin after one of his old songs unexpectedly becomes a hit in Germany, hoping to revive his stalled music career. He navigates the city's vibrant music scene whilst reconnecting with familiar faces and forming new alliances. The series follows his attempts to record new material and find his footing in an unfamiliar culture, blending comedy with musical performances throughout.
